[comp.lang.fortran] Fortran 77 under VMS

Does anyone know of a Fortran 77 compiler running under VAX/VMS
which would be suitable for undergraduate teaching? We are looking
for something with good (preferably automatic) postmortem facilities,
good error messages and preferably both array bound and unassigned
variable checking.

Is WATF77 available under VMS, if so does it meet the above requirements?
