[comp.lang.fortran] Linking "VAX-FORTRAN for ULTRIX" common blocks to c extern.

We have tried it the way the manual says to, but we can't seem to get
it to work.  Has anyone been succesful?  If so could you tell me how?
I simple, working, example would be terrific.
