I saw Ladyhawk last night. I thought it was pretty good. It had the acting, story and sets to be very good (by my tastes), but they blew it in a few ways. If you plan to see it, don't set your hopes on having a good score, or special visual effects. Don't let science interfere with your enjoying the film. It takes place in medieval France. It is nice that people seem unaware of magic, and afraid of it, as the devil's work, when they run into it. It is a heroic fantasy. I also suggest that you leave just after the final killing, so as to avoid the prolonged mush at the end.
