As for a certain individual's recent flaming of the movie "Passage to India", I can understand how someone with absolutely no imagination might not like the movie; it was one of the few in recent years which requires some amount of thought on the part of the viewer. Sure, the flame was pretty incoherent and all, but what's all this violence personally directed towards the flamer? The guy didn't explain why he hated it, but none of the respondents explained why they thought it was so good. I seems that they assumed that everyone KNEW it was good. Hey, I liked Forster's novel a lot. However, I'm not particularly interested in seeing it as a movie, and I don't think that makes me ignorant, or a swine, etc. -r-
