I'm sick of compilers and libraries that think they know mathematics
better than me: everything from mod(-1,6) equalling -1 instead of 5,
to the Unix sqrt and log functions taking negative arguments.

[By the way: do some of you think it's time for comp.lang.c-vs-fortran?
This topic comes up endlessly in both groups.]
