I've got some 80 character/record formatted ascii data.
The format's specification says "11" and "12" overpunches occur in
certain columns.
What I know:
punched digits 0 to 9 show as is.
punched digits 1 to 9 plus a "12" overpunch show as A to I.
punched digits 1 to 9 plus an "11" overpunch show as J to R.
It appears that a punched 11-0 shows as a "}" (right curly brace), but
I'm not sure why and I wonder if it's universal. Secondly, I'd
like to know what a 12-0 shows as. Thanks.
