Thanks to the several of you out there who responded to my query on availability of the Harwell Scientific Subroutine Package. You all informed me that some, at least, of these routines are available from netlib, as in: netlib@research.att.com This worked for me. netlib@anl-ams.arpa I got no response from this. However, it turns out that the only Harwell routines that this source has are the MA28 family, which solves sparse systems of linear equations. I am interested in the optimization routines. If anyone else has any idea where I could pick these up, I'd appreciate the information. Or, does anyone have an email path to Harwell? Incidentally, the netlib holdings look interesting, and if anyone out there is not aware of this service, I suggest you send the message send help send index to one of the above addresses, to get a list of what they have, and directions for getting it sent to you. (They even have code to generate Voronoi polyhedra..., though in how many dimensions I do not know!)
