A friend of mine tried desperatly to find a copy many years ago and couldn't locate one. Perhaps it's re-released, but I doubt it. Two of the songs are sung by Joan Baez. The music was written by *get this* Peter Shickele (spelling?), better known as Professor Peter Shickele of the University of Northern South Dakota at Hoople, discoverer and proponant of the music of PDQ Bach, last and certainly least of JS Bach's many odd children, and certainly the oddest of the batch. My favorite cut is the march that plays when you get your first view of the freighters. (Starts with a drum cadence.) I liked it so much I scored it for drums and brass choir in high school. (We're talking 1973! Is the movie really that old???) -- -- Ron Christian (Watkins-Johnson Co.
