I am trying to get some information on the features of other vendor's parallel Fortran compilers (so I can compare them to the features of our parallel Fortran). To that end, I would like to simply order the appropriate manual(s) from the company, and read it for myself. Trouble is, I don't know exactly what to order. Undoubtably, it will be something like "[Parallel] FORTRAN User's Guide", but 'something like' doesn't cut it with order entry people. I am appealing to the net for help. If your Fortran compiler has parallel extensions, please email me the name of the manual, the model of the machine, and (if possible) the manual's part number. We are interested in any availible implementation (e.g. Alliant, Ardent, Cray, Encore, IBM, Sequent, etc.; appologies if I left your company off the list). I have a VMS 5.0 manual already. Please do *not* offer to send a photocopy of a manual. We are trying to keep this honest and above board. If a company is not willing to sell us a manual, that's our though luck. We are not looking for gory details of the compiler internals; just the user's guide describing the feature set. Thanks for any information you can provide. If there is enough interest, I'll post a summary to the net. -- Bron Campbell Nelson bron@sgi.com or possibly ..!ames!sgi!bron These statements are my own, not those of Silicon Graphics.
