Lahey Computer Systems will host a "Fortran 8x Implementation Syposium"
at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe Hotel in Incline Village, NV, USA on September 28
and 29, 1989. The symposium will explore opportunities, problems, and
solutions to implementing Fortran 8x.
It is expected that minutes will be published. Volunteers are needed
to lead discussions and take notes for publication.

For those of you who are planning to implement Fortran 8x, but have not
participated actively in its development, I would be willing to organize
an all-day seminar the previous day (Wed the 27th) to cover the new features
of the standard and prepare you for the next two days. Let me know if
you are interested.
