I have a 386 machine with a 387; I'm running NDP fortran version 1.4E/3 with Phar Lap version 2.0. I am trying to enable to enable exception handling so that programs will halt when overflows or divide-by-zeroes occur. However, I can't seem to get it to work; there seems to be no difference whether or not I enable or disable the interrupts, and I can't get it to recognize a user-provided exception handler. The discussion and examples in section 10 of the users manual don't seem to help (and in any case, the README on the disk says the section in the manual is out of date). The example provided on the disk isn't enough. If anybody using NDP-fortran has figured out how to use the exception handlers, I would appreciate hearing how they did it. E-mail is fine. --- Terry Gaetz -- gaetz@uwovax.BITNET -- Department of Astronomy -- gaetz@uwovax.uwo.ca -- U. Western Ontario --------------------------
