From MEClark, re FORTRAN compilers for 386 IBM clone Since I didn't get any replies from my question of 9-1-89 and since there was some trouble in Notes during the week, I'm asking the question again. I want to do some extensive number crunching on my 25 Mhz 386 equipped with a Weitek 3167 and 4 mb ram. I need advice to choose between NDP fortran by Micro-Way, Lahey's F77L-EM32, SAIC's VS fort, OASIS's fortran, or any other compiler.

It will support your hardware. Some other people here have used it to port FORTRAN from the VAX to the 386, and I understand the code ports with no or very little change.
