[comp.lang.fortran] Random Query

khb@chiba.Eng.Sun.COM (Keith Bierman - SPD Advanced Languages) (02/16/90)

During a late night Pasta + Beer session, a couple of us pondered the
question of inlining directives. We wandered through various language
"spaces" but let us restrict ourselves to the one TrueLanguage for
this discussion ;>

Given that one wants it all (automatic/heuristic, inline this module
everywhere, inline this module here only, inline all modules, inline
all modules-excepttion list, get modules from library/directory
location, etc.) what "spellings" are common ? (c$dir inline (foo) ?)

Aside from the PSR/VAST source to source tool, which other
tools/compilers do you have which provide this service ?

If I get interesting responses, I'll collect them and repost.
