[comp.lang.fortran] Microsoft FORTRAN for PC

zaft@suned1.Navy.MIL (Gordon C Zaft) (04/10/90)

I'm porting a long FORTRAN program from a military computer to a
PC -- the program was originally written in a variant of FORTRAN IV
(FORTRAN-66).

The problem is there are a lot of Hollerith literals, etc. that are
tripping me up. I haven't found any way to tell the FORTRAN
Compiler (it's only version 3.20, an old one) to use FORTRAN-66
compatibility.

Does anyone know of a way to do this, or if more recent versions of the
Microsoft FORTRAN allow FORTRAN-66 regression?

Replies by e-mail, please.

Thanks in advance!
