I tried to send this about a week ago. Seems like it didn't happen so I'm trying again. Apologies if you've already seen it... My wife needs to learn something about programming in Fortran. She has access to either a Mac (SE/30 or IIci) or a Compaq 386 portable (MS-DOS or OS/2). Are there any free or reasonably priced Fortran compilers for these environments (reasonable, in these circumstances, means free to around $150) of recommendable quality? you may email to garyn@ashton.A-T.COM if you prefer that over a newsgroup reply.
