[comp.lang.fortran] concatenating integr variable values at the end of char string

Hi,
Would anyone be knowing of a way to concatenate an integer variable (or constant ) to a character string, or character variable, in standard F77.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  PLease mail or post.
