Many FORTRAN users are not really "programmers", but are scientists, engineers, and others who use computers to get their job done. These users need to be aware of the changes which will come about with FORTRAN 90, but do not have the technical expertise to understand most of the documents which comprise the "official" specification (e.g., they don't know what a "pointer" is). Has any documentation been written for FORTRAN 90 directed to the non-expert programmer? ________________________________________________________________________ Raymond W.
