Concerning this on-going C versus Fortran discussion, I just want to say that I am impressed in general by the caliber of the discussion and I, at least, am learning alot. I think it has given people a good deal to think about and has softened the dogma on both sides of the issue. I would love to see this discussion continue and perhaps expand into questions of what tools do scientific users need in the future and do any of the available languages offer them.
