I know that the Fortran compiler distributed by MicroSoft is from Absoft. But I think that some time ago Absoft started selling their own new versions of the compiler while MicroSoft still markets an older version. Also I think I have read somewhere that MicroSoft version numbers do not match Absoft version numbers. The point is that one of my colleagues (who goes back to his own country in only two days) has bought MicroSoft Fortran, which appears to be version 2.2, dated 1986. Also he found an irritating bug in it. What I want to know is: 1. What Absoft version is MicroSoft version 2.2. 2. What is the current version of the Absoft compiler. 3.
