Hi, This is for those who have experience with fortran on Suns. We have some Suns running OS4.0.3 which we mainly use for fortran (v1.2) and Mathematica. So far, we have resisted upgrading to OS 4.1.x because the reports we got was that the corresponding fortran compiler was badly broken. Our university wants us to use the latest OS for ease in maintenance reasons. So my question is: How broken is the latest fortran compiler for the Suns? What are the bugs which remain, and how does the behavior differ from v1.2? Any insight and/or personal experience would be welcome. I will summarize a list of all major flaws. Pls email the replies.
