What is the "current" edition of the FORTRAN 90 working document. The latest that I have seen is June 1990 (X3J3/S8.115) Does anyone know if there has been an update? -- /\=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=/\ \/Richard Friedman (415)540-5216 | rchrd@well.sf.ca.us \/ /\Pacific-Sierra Rsrch (Berkeley) | or well!rchrd@apple.com /\ \/=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=\/

Subsequent agreed changes (principally editorial corrections and clarifications) have been stored as amendments to this edition to facilitate parallel processing in ISO and ANSI. There are to be ISO and ANSI meetings soon (London Mar 18-22, Minneapolis Apr 8-12) to make the final adjustments before the standard is cast in stone. The ISO country ballot on the Draft International Standard (=S8.115) closes on Feb 9; it is unofficially reported that the vote so far is 16-1 in favour, the 1 being Japan and the 16 including the US. There are however a large number of editorial comments appended to the "yes" votes. David Muxworthy University of Edinburgh
