I just looked over the Summer Movie release schedule published in the Seattle Post-Intelligence (yes, ha-ha, quite a name, what do you expect from a Hearst Newspaper?) which sounded pretty complete. I was comparing it with the list Peter Reiher published from the January 1st L.A. Times, and noticed many titles which had been scheduled (in January) for this summer which are missing from the more recent schedule. I realize that they juggle movie release dates like duckpins, but several *big* pictures are missing (in particular "Young Sherlock Holmes", supposedly directed by Barry Levinson and produced by S. Spielberg -- this was the film I was *most* looking forward to this summer (due mainly to Levinson), and I hope that it hasn't had production problems). I don't suppose anyone has a more complete summer release list (and would be willing to type it in?). I'll be happy to type in the Seattle P.I. schedule, but I'd like to make sure it's accurate & complete first (and Seattle is not exactly the Film capital of the west coast)...
