[comp.lang.fortran] FORTRAN Interpreters?

Does anyone know about FORTRAN interpreters(!) ?

Thanks in advance.

The Watcom Group once had an easy-to-use Fortran interpreter,
but I don't know if they still support it. I've had good luck
with their MS-DOS compiler WATFOR-77 in Fortran classes that
I've taught in the past. The integrated editor is kinda wierd,
but the language implementation itself is good. Try contacting

I'm just curious: why the explicit interest in an interpreter?

By the way, has anybody had any experience with Watcom's new
F77/386 compiler? Apparently, it's a companion product to
their much talked about C optimizing compiler.
