Not true.  The book is a re-telling of the seminar workbook we've been
using for years.  FORGE is mentioned, but the only details have to do with
the run-time monitor.   An extensive timing example is reproduced in the
book.  Also, the book only relates to vectorization.  FORGE/MIMDIZER does
more.
