Many Thanks to all who responded to my request a couple of days ago re:- A FORTRAN compiler for free or less cost that the Microsoft one. The going away winner was : LAHEY Personal FORTRAN Compiler FP77. The address for LAHEY is Incline Village, Nevade. Since Nevada has only one area code for the telephone it should not be to hard to get a telephone number. Cost quoted was a high of $99.00 direct from the manufacturer to a low of $88.00 when some shopping was done through Dr. Dobbs and BYTE. Again MANY thanks for all you assistance and our young friend is doing some research now to find out where to get it, because efven $99.00 is easier to handle then $475. Dave Marden
