I don't know why everyone is complaining about the soundtrack. Not only did I enjoy the soundtrack, but I think it fit very well with the movie. Apparently other people do too. Both my friend and I have been looking for it for weeks in Atlanta record stores, and NEITHER of us can find it (in vinyl format. Cassette is available, but yick, who wants that?). I even have one friend in Maryland who bought it, and finding it was defective, wants to return it, but can't find one to exchange it with. Does anyone else have these problems? -- David Corbin Georgia Institute of Technology Box 34034 Atlanta GA 30332 ...!{akgua,allegra,amd,hplabs,ihnp4,masscomp,ut-ngp}!gatech!gitpyr!dave ...!{rlgvax,sb1,uf-cgrl,unmvax,ut-sally}!gatech!gitpyr!dave

I saw Ladyhawke this past weekend and can understand the complaints about the soundtrack. It wasn't so much that it was rock as that it was often intrusively loud, especially near the beginning of the movie, when you're still trying to figure out who's who. In the quieter sections it works pretty well, providing a contrast with the medieval court music used in the castle scenes. As an aside, does anyone in netland know the meaning of "for Little Pasta", which appeared in the credits. -Doug Mink
