[comp.lang.fortran] C for FORTRAN user and C++ for FORTRAN users

 Hello: everyone!
    I am convinced that knowing little C won't hurt for 
FORTRAN ( or long time ) Users like myself. 
    I am planing to write a book: 
      C for FORTRAN users
  If it is ok, then I would write a book:
      C++ for FORTRAN users
  I found for us FORTRAN users, leaning a new language is
much easier if we have a familier reference frame: FORTRAN. 
  Any suggestion? ( including are there such books exist? )
any recommendation? and which publisher I should contact? 
  ( a college press is quit interested in my plan, but I would
    get more audience).
