	Why?  Emulating 64 bits on a 32 bit machine is simple, but 
it does affect memory requirements and execution speed.  Our Convex
has a -i8 compiler flag.

	Convex also has a -cfc flag on their Fortran compiler that makes it
think it is a Cray Fortran Compiler.  With present loads clocktime is 
about the same on our Convex as on our Cray, and so are the answers.
Clock time scatters Much more than the answers. ;^)
