[comp.lang.fortran] PGPLOT availability

mroussel@alchemy.chem.utoronto.ca (Marc Roussel) (06/07/91)

Our department acquired PGPLOT a little while ago. Unfortunately,
our source code seems to be missing several routines (most notably all
the pgq* inquiry routines) and our manual is a hodgepodge. In order to
straighten ourselves out, I would like to know which ftp sites might
have the latest full release of PGPLOT. Also, where and how can one get
a complete manual? We are probably willing to pay a reasonable fee, but
of course it would be nice if we could just ftp an electronic document
of some sort.
If you reply directly to me by email, I will summarize when the
answers are in.

                                Sincerely,

				Marc R. Roussel

P.S.: In case some of you are wondering what PGPLOT is, it's a set of
graphics subroutines (written in C but with Fortran interfaces as well)
which produces output for a wide variety of devices. The accompanying
documentation indicates that it is freely redistributable (although not PD).
