This was the opener for the 10th Annual Seattle Film Festival this year, due mainly to the fact that it was shot entirely in Seattle. I found it rather disturbing to watch a film shot with so many familiar landmarks; one becomes disturbed by apparently adjacent locations which are miles apart, and attention is distracted from the plot when trying to identify landmarks. This may have influenced this review somewhat... This is a fact of life for those of us who live in the LA area. Car chases through downtown end up in Malibu speeding along the cliffs in a matter of minutes, even though it's a 30 minute drive when the traffic is at a mininum; strolls through (beautiful???) downtown Burbank take you into the Sherman Oaks shopping mall, etc. Oh well, that's life in (near) Tinseltown. bill putnam UUCP:ucbvax!ucla-cs!ism780!billp
