I am sure this is a very old request. I am looking for a prolog interpreter/compiler primarily for teaching and research purposes. It must run on UNIX (VAX, SUN, and possibly on one of the multiprocessors such as Sequent or Encore). Currently I don't have any big project to develop using Prolog, but would like to keep that option open. Therefore, I am interested in good debugging tools, programming environments (is there such a thing for Prolog?), user interface (can it make use of the graphics environment of SUN workstations?), etc. I would be grateful if you could share your experience with us.
