[comp.lang.prolog] Odd behavior of C-Prolog 1.4a debugger

ameen@techunix.BITNET (Ameen Abu_Hanna) (05/14/88)

Here at the Technion, we have the 1.4a version of C-Prolog :-(, running
under 4.3 Unix.

I'm facing problems with the debugger : the skip and leap options
do not work properly : in both, the debugger retains control
before it should and displays an intermediate goal which should actually
be processed "quietly".
In short the system is manifesting "creeping" properties.

Anybody faced such manifested behavior ?
Any suggestions for a remedy ? (other than installing the 1.5 version).
and by the way what is the latest C-Prolog version ?
                Thanks, Ameen.
