Open Position in an Advanced Prolog Compiler Development Project at ECRC

The European Computer-Industry Research Centre is a joint research
organisation founded on the initiative of three major European
computer manufacturers: Bull, ICL and Siemens.
The open position is in a team developing and implementing an advanced
Prolog compiler. It involves in particular the implementation of the
low-level parts of the compiler whose development is already well advanced.
The general goal of the project is to turn Logic Programming into a more
useful and complete paradigm.
Requirements :
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field and
research skills
- Experience in Prolog, C and UNIX
Background in :
- Compiler Construction
- Software Development of large applications
Knowledge of Prolog compilation techniques would be useful.
