speaking of mistakes in movies.... how about in the opening scene of "Psycho II" when Lila Loomis (Vera Miles) is ranting at the judge in the courtroom about the decision to okay Norman Bates' release from the institution??? She mentions the relatives of "the seven people he murdered"....quack? 1. Mom 2. Mom's lover 3. the first missing girl mentioned near the end of the film 4. the second missing girl mentioned near the end of the film 5. Marion Crane (Janet Leigh, in the shower of course) 6. the private eye Arbogast (Martin Balsam) Maybe I can't count, but that looks like SIX people to me. Aren't I right??! If so, I think someone deserves an all-expenses paid trip to a certain motel for this...8-) I mean, really!! By-the-by, while we're on the subject...does anybody out there have any info on the sequel (III) that's supposed to be in the works?? The idea is making me *very* nervous... Poor Norman. J. Lawrence "I mean, with the price of meat what it is..." The only thing which might redeem "Psycho III" would be to have Angela Lansbury drop by... Mrs. Lovett likes younger men, and she'd be the perfect pal for Norman...mother figure, paramour and business partner all rolled into one!! 8-) **************************************************************** "M-mother...my mother...what is the phrase...she's not qu-quite herself today." ****************************************************************
