The PROLOG Forum is in the process of preparing our second issue of the
newsletter, and we very anxious to get some material from our "extended
family". We have lined up some advertising, and have some ambitious
plans for this newsletter, so we need articles of almost every kind and
description. In particular, we need some smaller "hands on" sorts of
pieces that will appeal more to the "causal user" of PROLOG or PROLOG
beginner than the professional hacker. Both our meetings and our first
newsletter have suffered from being a little too "technical" (in some
sense of that word) for many of the people who would want to join our
group. We need your help in extending our appeal to that part of the
PROLOG community.
Many people have come up with wonderful little tricks about
programming that should be shared, but never are because they don't
seem important. The fact that a solution is obvious (once you have
found it), doesn't mean it was obvious from the start. As important as
finding the answer is describing the problem solving that was involved
in getting to that answer. So if you have had an interesting "battle"
with PROLOG (no matter how small) please jot it down and send it to us.
Submissions can be sent to this computer account electronically, or by
paper or disk format to:

We would prefer disks to paper, and can handle either 5.25" PC format
disks or Mac disks (former slightly preferred). Please send your
submission in a "plain-vanilla" ASCII file format.
