{If you get confused, listen to the music play....}
Hey, all you dh's! How was the Red Rocks shows? I have a friend in Worcester
who went for a week and said it's the best thing he ever did... I understand
they're going to do it again in September and I am considering going (I've
never been to Red Rocks). I'm told they played straight through a thunder
and lightning storm (while playing every song about weather they could come
up with). Anyone else out there hear anything about it?
always me,
dan
p.s. I agree with whoever that was that asked to post things to net.music,
because I can't get net.music.gdead or .dead or anything else like it.

Like any DEADicated dead head I attended all three shows on the rocks (June 12-14). I would have to say that they were three of the hottest dead shows I have seen. True, the first sets on the 13th and 14th were rather short but I will always take quality over quanity. Here is a list of all the songs played (by date): June 12: June 13: Alabama Getaway Enjoying The Ride (Hell In A Bucket) Greatest Story Ever Told Candyman Friend Of The Devil C.C. Rider Little Red Rooster Ramble On, Rose Big Railroad Blues Brother Esau Me and My Uncle Cold Rain and Snow (with Phil singing some) Mexicalli Blues Don't Ease Me In Althea Looks Like Rain ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scarlet Begonias -> China Cat Sunflower-> Touch Of Grey I Know You Rider Estimated Prophet The Women Are Smarter Eyes Of The World Ship Of Fools Drums->Space-> Let It Grow The Other One Drums->Space-> Wharf Rat The Wheel Around and Around I Need A Miracle Johnny B. (net.music.dead lives???)
I just wanted to tell Dan (I couldn't figure out how to get mail to you) that
here at Penn State we can get net.music.dead. We have posted to it in the
past, and when I type in "subject net.music.dead" I get the reply "Subject not
found". Have you tried posting to it? I know it's not supposed to exist, but
it does. It doesn't work for any other group, either!
