The ROLOG compiler (and related) files are now available via anonymous ftp. (The Department and the University have finally agreed on a copyright notice). See a preious posting for more details concerning ROLOG. To get the files, ftp to cs.uiuc.edu as an anonymous user. You should find the necessary files in pub/ROLOG. There are 5 files that you will find there. COPYING: contains the notice that you find below. INSTALL: installs the compiler on the target machine of your choice. manual.dvi: the latex output file for a preliminary version of the manual rolog.tar.Z: the source files for ROLOG ck.tar.Z: the source files for the Chare Kernel that ROLOG requires. We request those acquiring the software to send mail to ramkumar@cs.uiuc.edu so that we can maintain a list of users. To obtain relevant papers and list of publications etc. send email to me (kale@cs.uiuc.edu) with your physical address. Please send me and/or Ramkumar any questions regarding ROLOG, bug reports, etc. We apologise to those who have already sent mail for a copy of ROLOG for the silence so far. The reason was that this legal business had almost been resolved and it would have been a lot more effort to send each individual requester a copy than wait it out. - L. V.
