In the movie that Niven played Bond (Sir James Bond-to be exact), there were two other Bonds played by Woody Allen (Jimmy Bond) and Peter Sellers. I seem to remember that in Casino Royale several people took on the name 'James Bond' in an attempt to confuse the bad guys (and perhaps the audience too?) Chris Andersen

Six went to a heavenly spot One went to a place that was terribly hot" or something like that. The idea was to have so many james Bods running around the world that Smirsh could never figure out who the real one was. I believe the James Bonds were 1. David Niven (the real James Bond) 2. Woody Allen (Jimmy Bond) 3. Peter Sellers (a gambler recrutied to pretend he James Bond) 4. Ursulla Adrews (Matta Bond, disguised as James Bond) Can't remeber who played these parts: 5. (A male agent disguised as James Bond ) 6. (A female agent disguised as James Bond and Jimmy Bond's choice as co-ruler of the world.) 7. (I can't remember the seventh, but it may have been the girl who killed Peter Sellers.) As I recall, during the big fight scene at the end, there were two seals in the Casino, with name tags that said 007. Does that make 9 James Bonds. Scott A. Stewart LMSC

Sellers actually played Evelyn Tremble who posed as James Bond (as did everyone else) and Allen played Bond's nephew "Jimmy Bond". > >2.
