NACLP'90 CALL FOR PROPOSALS TO ORGANIZE WORKSHOPS (TAKE 2) Associated with each of the past two logic programming meetings, there have been a set of workshops that provide a forum for presenting ideas and discussing issues of interest within a particular area. We are again providing such a forum in conjunction with the NACLP'90 meeting in Austin, Texas, Oct 29 - Nov 1, 1990. The afternoon of Thursday, Nov 1, and Friday, Nov 2, have been set aside for workshops. We already have had several workshops proposed and voluteers to organize them: 1. Parallel Execution of Logic Programs 2. Non-Monotonic Reasoning and Logic Programming 3. Architectures for Logic Programming 4. Higher-Order Logic Programming 5. Non-Horn Clause Logic Programming We may have room for a couple of more workshops (probably half-day). Ideas that have been proposed include a) Types and LP and b) Deductive DB. Is anyone interested in organizing a workshop on one of these (or another) topic? If so please contact me. Thanks. David S.
