it is written: _Y_o_u_n_g_ _S_h_e_r_l_o_c_k_ _H_o_l_m_e_s is a Columbus original liberally rewritten from the facts of Sherlock Holmes' youth as set forth the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle canon. It tells how Holmes and Dr. Watson meet in prep school in England and how they get involved in some sort of mystery involving the supernatural. Columbus says it will also explain some of Holmes' later behaviour; e.g., his misogyny. - How Holmes & Watson met at prep school in England?! it must indeed be rewritten (aka "butchered") from the canon. Conan Doyle makes it quite clear how the two met, WELL AFTER PREP SCHOOL, when Watson was looking for a roommate in London. Do we really need this kind of dreck? Couldn't they call it Bolmes and Batson or something? and yes, indeed, let's explain everything away with some kind of vulgar freudianism while we're at it. Thanks, I'd rather stay home and watch Dr. Gene Scott on the tube.
