WORKSHOP ON LOGIC PROGRAMMING 
September 13-18, 1990

First announcement and call for participation

The Workshop on Logic Programming will be held from Thursday,
September, 13 to Wednesday, September 18, 1990 in Listvyanka, near
Irkutsk, Siberia, USSR.

This is the first workshop on logic programming organized in Soviet
Union.  The organizing committee decided to make it international.
Contributions in all areas of logic programming are welcome.  The
scientific program will consist of 30-60 minute talks.


The workshop will be held in the tourist campus in a small
picturesque village Listvyanka on the shore of the Baikal sea.

Unfortunately we solved our problems in organizing international
workshop only recently.  So those who wish to participate must send
as soon as possible the following information:

The deadline for application is August, 5.

The conference fee is 200 US dollars for participants and 220 US
dollars for accompanying persons.  The conference fee includes:
housing and eating in a tourist campus for 6 days; plane ticket
Moscow-Irkutsk-Moscow or Khabarovsk-Irkutsk-Khabarovsk; and bus
ticket Listvyanka-Irkutsk-Listvyanka.

The representatives of the organizing committee will meet
participants in Moscow, Khabarovsk and Irkutsk.


For those who will send applications after August 5 we cannot
guarantee plane tickets at a reduced price (the usual price can be
300-500 US dollars).
