SYMPOSIUM ON COMPUTATIONAL LOGIC BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 13-14 1990 As a special event organised by ESPRIT Basic Research Actions within the ESPRIT Conference 1990 (November 12-15), a Symposium on Computational Logic will be held in Brussels on November 13-14, 1990. The Symposium will be held from 2pm to 6pm on Tuesday 13 November and from 9am to 6pm on Wednesday 14 November. The Symposium will consist of 10 invited lectures and a 90 minute panel discussion. The invited lectures will be given by the following: * K.R. Apt (University of Texas/CWI, Amsterdam) * A. Bundy (University of Edinburgh) * A. Colmerauer (Universite d'Aix-Marseille) * R.A. Kowalski (Imperial College, London) * V. Lifschitz (Stanford University) * J. McCarthy (Stanford University) * R. Reiter (University of Toronto) * D.S. Scott (Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh) * J. Siekmann (Universitaet Kaiserslautern) * F. Turini (Universita di Pisa) The lectures will cover a wide range of current research topics in computational logic. The Symposium will end with a panel session on the topic ``Programming in 2010: The Role of Computational Logic''. The panellists will be J.W. Lloyd (Chairman), H. Gallaire, R.A. Kowalski, J.
