[comp.lang.prolog] Problems with Prolog

jkolasa@ms.uky.edu (James Kolasa) (01/22/91)

In my thesis, I am discussing possible improvements in Prolog's
interpreter to decrease search times on Prolog's database. For
this, I would be interested in finding out what problems people
see with the Prolog language. This may not be the appropriate
place for this posting since I assume everyone here loves Prolog.
But, if you have any sort of general comments about "Prolog would
be so much better if ..." or "Every programmer in the world would
give up those silly procedural languages is Prolog could..." I
would be terribly interested to hear them. Either direct email or
postings here would be fine. Thanx...
