I have an application which was developed under MPROLOG on a Sun 3 workstation. I would like to port this application to a Sun 4 system, but I'm considering other Prolog environments. The application uses a lot of I/O and string manipulation functions which do not seem to be easily portable to another Prolog environment. Does anybody have any experience porting an application from MPROLOG to Quintus Prolog or SBProlog? I welcome any suggestions/opinions/advice/help :-) Is Logicware International (MPROLOG) still alive? The number I have is out of service (416-629-8801). Please mail replies to me directly.
