ECRC's constraints reasoning project team is looking for two enthusiastic gifted fellow researchers, for both theoretical and practical work on a successor to the constraints logic programming system CHIP. We seek one researcher with a PhD, and proven theoretical grasp of constraints logic programming or constraints. The second researcher should have an interest in the efficient implementation of constraints logic programming; solid experience of 'C' programming in a SUN/UNIX environment is assumed. ECRC is an industrial research centre in Munich, funded by Bull, ICL and Siemens. Basic research is carried out on behalf of the three member companies, partly within ESPRIT collaborative projects. A large number of nationalities are represented amongst ECRC's 60 researchers, and the common working language is English. Salaries are based on industry rates.
