The PKARC and PKXARC, version 3.6, shareware programs have been reported to contain serious bugs which may corrupt the hard disks on your PCs. The file PK36BAD.MSG in PD1:<MSDOS.ARC-LBR> on SIMTEL20 discusses these problems. It is highly recommended that those of you who use these programs back up to version 3.5 until the bugs are fixed. PK36 is on the AdaIC bulletin and is being distributed by them as well as being used to create their ARC files. I'll give them a phone call today about it. Rick Conn -------
