I get all my info-ada messages delivered very late (5-10 days after they
are sent) and in packets of 5-10 messages. Can anybody tell me why ?

It appears that you are on the bitnet redistribution of info-ada. If that
doesn't answer your question, ask ME again, and I'll try to explain how I
understand it works, and why the gateways conspire to make communication
between the two so inconsistent.

Sorry to post this here, I don't know where else.

And I've only been administering INFO-Ada for some 5 years now. Please,
please, EVERYBODY, if you have administrative issues, such as change of
address, problems with bounced mail, strange delivery, ANYTHING related to
this, send mail to info-ada-request@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu. Failing that, try any
of my other electronic addresses listed below, or even the telephone or
paper mail (yes, that technology still works). I try to keep up-to-date on
all the network gateways, mail transfer issues, etc., etc. (I'll even
accept queries from people who read this stuff via USENET news and other
mechanisms.)

Trying to increase the signal to noise ratio...

... we now return to your regularly scheduled INFO-Ada digest...
