HELP!!! I am looking for dates related to Ada (the programming language), any history preceding it, MCCR policies, standardization, etc. For example, I know the following: o Announcement of Ginny Castor appointment: 1985 October 23 o DeLauer memorandum: 1983 June 10 o 3405.1 issued (finally): 1987 April 2 o 3405.2 issued (finally): 1987 March 30 (did you ever notice how very carefully 1 April was avoided?!) o Ada = ANSI/MIL-STD-1815A: January 1983 There's a LOT that I am missing, and I would appreciate ANY help I can get, including dates for: o Service standardization on / acceptance of Ada (US - Army, Air Force, Navy) o Date Ada an ISO standard o Date Ada a <pick-your-favourite> MoD standard o Date Ada Board was formed o Dates of Steelman, Stoneman, HOLWG-related stuff ... o Date first validation (NYU Ada Ed) awarded o Date first "real" compiler validation awarded o ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK MIGHT BE RELEVANT to a top-level history search Your inputs will be kindly appreciated.
