Well, I saw Morse, Morgenstein and a bassist (whose name I didn't catch)
play in Boston about 3 months ago as the Steve Morse Band. Morse said
that they had recorded an album which will come out in the summer. I
can't wait to here it.
That trio stuff sounds interesting but it's news to me. As far as the
other dregs: Andy West has formed his own band on the west coast. T
Lavitz has been doing a lot of gigging including stints with the Paul
Barerre band (of Little Feat (w. Rod M.)), an album with John Macey
(which I can recommend). I had to opportunity to talk to T about 4
months ago and he said that he may do a tour with Peter Frampton, but
he said that if Morse asked him to play in his project he would do it
because "he's my favorite musician".
By the way, if anyone has a copy of the very first Dregs album entitled
"The Great Spectacular" (not Freefall) please please contact me. I would
like to either buy it from you (preferably) or at least pay you to make
me a tape of it.
