While I am sure some folks will be renting cars or taking cabs to their
hotels, some of you may be able to catch the ole courtesy van or a limo.
Here is some information you may be able to use.
Notes:
1. phone #'s listed below are all in area code 412
2. Cabs are of course available; yellow cab company is the servicing agent
for the airport. A fare into the downtown area is approximately
$20-25. east of downtown is more
3. this information has been solicited several times, STILL, at some hotels
we got *conflicting* information as to whether they provided a
complimentary shuttle or folks needed to use the commercial services.
IN general, those hotels closest to the airport provide complimentary
service of their own, as you get into the downtown area, it starts to mix
and to the east of downtown (the airport is to the west), it is almost
exclusively commercial services.
4. I *URGE* you to contact your hotel directly to make sure of what options
are available.
